Liegesessel-Paar der frühen Amsterdamer Schule (1910-1930) aus ca. 1920. 

Das überschwängliche Erscheinungsbild, das für die erste Periode der 

Bewegung charakteristisch ist, weist starke skulpturale expressionistische 

Linien mit kunstvollen Details auf, die sich von einem Stuhl zum anderen 

unterscheiden und eine dynamische Form durch die Bewegungsfunktion 

erhalten. Die für den Arts and Crafts Morris-Stuhl typische verstellbare 

Rückenlehne hat vier Positionen und ist einfach einzustellen. Die gewachste 

Eichenstruktur wurde restauriert und befindet sich in perfektem Zustand. 

Die bequemen Kissen sind mit expressionistisch gemustertem, polychromem 

Samt bezogen und noch gut in Form. /

 

Pair of early Amsterdam School (1910-1930) reclining chairs manufactured c. 1920. 

The exuberant appearance characteristic of the movement's first period features 

strong sculptural expressionist lines with elaborate details different from one chair 

to another and dynamic shape through the movement function. The reclining 

backrest typical of the Arts and Crafts Morris chair has four positions and is easy 

to adjust. The waxed oak structure has been restored and is in perfect condition. 

The comfortable cushions are covered with expressionistically patterned, 

polychrome velvet and are still in good shape.
